So that’s twice today I’ve been reduced to angry tears by my parents, all over stupid BS that I know I’m above and think a 53 year old should be above too. Taking this as a sign that it’s time to go back to Richmond.
One Door Closes, Another Opens!
After applying to volunteer at Fashion Week and getting turned down, I applied to work at a trade show called (capsule) that happens a few weeks later. Just got an e-mail back today, and I’m in!!! Not many details yet, but I am so psyched to get some industry experience- especially as a lowly freshman! Plus it features a bunch of very cool up and coming designers, along with a few more...

This is my third day in a row of being sick and I seem to be getting worse each day. What started out as a really awful cold has now added fevers and chills to the list. It’s beginning to get very flu-like. This is terrible. I am such baby about this sort of thing. Going to the Dr. in a few- hopefully we’ll see what’s up and I can finally start taking some meds!
